They originally had names that were quite a mouthful, so we’ve renamed them Denali, Juneau, and Miska.
These girls have had a rough few months. Their owner sadly passed away this summer, leaving them tethered outside on a short leash with no one to care for them.
Thankfully, a kind neighbor has been making sure they were fed and even took them for daily walks. Such a generous soul to step up and care for these girls after losing their person. ![]()
When they arrived, they were covered in fleas, mats, and feces — but that’s already starting to change. A huge thank you to Three Rivers Grooming for taking Miska in after hours tonight to get her cleaned up and feeling so much better.
Despite everything they’ve endured, these girls are absolutely stunning. Once they’re fully cleaned up, they’re going to be real head-turners! They’re very friendly with people, though still unsure about other dogs for now. Since they’ve only been with us a few hours, they’ll need some time to decompress and settle in.
We’re told they’re around 2½ years old, and with a little love, compassion, and training, they’ll make wonderful companions.
They’ve already had quite a busy day — vaccinations, microchipping, and de-fleaing — and are now resting comfortably.
We’ll share better pictures as they settle in, but if you’re interested in meeting one of these beautiful ladies, please reach out to schedule an appointment. They are not yet spayed, but that will be done soon.

Chloe -PICTURE COMING SOON. SHE LOOKS A LOT LIKE HER BROTHER ZUES
Breed: Purebred German Shepherd Dog
Age: Almost 3 years old
Gender: Female
Spay: Scheduled for 10/28/2025
Good with Dogs: Yes (both male and female)
Training Level: In progress (leash + car training underway)
Special Needs: Confidence building, continued socialization
Ideal Home: Calm, patient, experienced with shy or undersocialized dogs
Chloe is a beautiful, purebred German Shepherd with a gentle soul and very sweet. At nearly 3 years old, Chloe is still learning about the world around her. She came from a home where she lived only with her brother and owner, who was unfortunately unable to socialize him due to illness. As a result, Chloe is a bit shy and underexposed to typical life experiences—but she’s making great progress every day.
She recently began training and has been introduced to leash walking and will be introduced to car rides for the first time. She’s a quick learner and is showing more confidence with each new step. Chloe also has littermate syndrome, having spent her whole life with her brother, so for her emotional health and development, they are being rehomed separately. This will help her build independence and thrive as her own dog.
Chloe is incredibly sweet-natured and gets along well with other dogs, both male and female. He would do best in a calm, loving home with adopters who are patient and experienced in helping shy or undersocialized dogs gain confidence. She is not yet spayed, but her appointment is already scheduled for October 28, 2025.
With time, consistency, and kindness, Chloe will become a devoted and loving companion. She just needs the right person or family to show her the way.
💙 Ready to give Chloe the fresh start she deserves?

Eeyore
Meet Eeyore! ![]()
This big hunk of love just joined us! Eeyore is an approximately 2-year-old, unaltered male Cane Corso/Mastiff mix (we were told) with a heart as big as his paws.
We were told he’s good with dogs, kids, and cats—but we have not yet seen that. He is sweet with the people he trusts and can be reactive at other dogs, especially males. he was in a home with a female dog and did well so I think he might do well with some females.
This big boy is 122 lbs.
We can already tell he’s going to steal some hearts.
Stay tuned for updates on this handsome boy! If you're interested in setting up a meeting to meet Eeyore, please reach out to us. We'd love to help him find his perfect match!
Eeyore will come with a FI tacking collar and a 7 week basic obedience course.

Josie is a beautiful 3-year-old Black and Tan Coonhound who happens to be blind. This sweet girl is understandably a little scared right now, but she has such a gentle heart. Josie would thrive in a quiet, patient foster or adoptive home that can help her adjust and feel safe. She has not yet been spayed, but that will be scheduled soon.
If you’re interested in fostering or adopting this very special girl, please reach out — she deserves a loving place to call home. ![]()

This handsome Beagle boy is one of our newest rescues. Buddy is 1 year and 4 months old, neutered, and up to date on his vaccinations. He’s a sweet, friendly guy who gets along well with both people and other dogs.
Buddy would love a forever home with a securely fenced yard — he enjoys exploring and can be a bit of a wanderer.
If you’d like to meet Buddy, please reach out to schedule a meet and greet. He’s going to make a wonderful companion for someone! ![]()
