Are you ready for your next best friend?

Welcome to Campbell Safe Haven Rescue & Rehabilitation

🐾 A Message to Our Past & Future Adopters 🐾

At Campbell Safe Haven Rescue & Rehabilitation, we pour everything we have into each dog—rescue, rehabilitation, training, and love—so they can be ready for their forever home.

Before adopting, we ask that you truly take a moment to reflect on the commitment.
Dogs are not temporary—they are a lifelong responsibility.

Life will change.
Dogs may develop behaviors that need work.
Families grow. Situations shift.

That’s part of the journey.

When challenges arise, the expectation—outlined in our adoption contract—is that you seek training and work through those challenges, not give up on your dog. Whether it’s a move, a new baby, or a life curveball, these are things that should be planned for when making the decision to adopt.

We do take our dogs back—but please understand why.

It is not to make it easy to return them.
It is to ensure they never end up in a neglectful or unsafe situation.

We are a small rescue with very limited space and resources. Each return places a significant strain on our ability to help other dogs in need—and it can undo much of the progress that dog worked so hard to achieve.

Many of these dogs have already been passed from home to home. Every time that happens, their ability to trust humans and feel secure in a permanent home is deeply compromised. When they are returned, we often see confusion, anxiety, and emotional shutdown.

If you could see what these dogs go through when they come back into a shelter environment, you would think twice.
The reality is—those heartbreaking scenes you see in ASPCA commercials are not exaggerated. It’s something we witness far too often.

More than anything, it’s heartbreaking.

These dogs deserve stability, commitment, and a family that is prepared to stand by them through the ups and downs—just as they will stand by you.

If you are not fully ready for that level of commitment, we kindly ask that you wait until you are.

🐶 Adopt when you’re ready for forever—not just for right now.

🐾  Meet Juneau: I’m Looking for My Perfect Match! 🐾

"Hi! I’m Juneau, and if you’re looking for a 2½-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix who is the perfect blend of adventure and affection, I’m your girl!I’ve spent some time learning about the world and discovering exactly what I need to thrive. While my journey has had a few twists and turns, I’ve come out the other side more resilient and ready than ever. I’ve realized that I’m looking for a very specific kind of 'forever'—one filled with compassion, activity, and plenty of room for me to be my stunning self.

What I bring to our team:

  • Adventurous Spirit: I have that classic Shepherd/Husky energy! I love to explore and would be the ultimate partner for your daily walks or weekend hikes.
  • Master Snuggler: When the adventure is over, I have a major soft side. I’m always ready to curl up and show you just how much I appreciate your company.
  • Friendly & Focused: I am incredibly friendly with people! I’ve been through a lot, but my heart is wide open and ready to bond with my new family.
  • Lifelong Learning: I have started down the road of Obedience Training, teaching each of our volunteers something new. I come with free basic obedience or puppy group classes at Campbell K9 University. I’m smart and eager to keep working on my manners with you by my side.

I’m already vaccinated, fixed and microchipped.  I’ll also come home with my Fi tracking collar so we can stay safe while we start our new life together. I’m not just looking for a home—I’m looking for the home. If you’re an active, patient soul who wants a loyal, head-turning companion to share your life with, I think we should meet!"

Interested in being Juneau’s perfect match? Please contact Campbell Safe Haven Rescue and Rehabilitation at 541-404-2524 to schedule a meet-and-greet with this beautiful girl.

Meet Harlow: Ready, Set, FETCH! 🐾

"Hi! I’m Harlow, and if you’re looking for a partner who is always ready to go, I’m your guy! I’m a 2-year-old Lab mix, and my friends say I’m 'energetic,' but I just think life is more fun when you’re moving—especially if there's a ball involved. I’m a transfer from the Coos County Animal Shelter, and I’m so ready to find my forever teammates. I have a very high 'ball drive,' which is just a fancy way of saying that I live for the game. If you’re willing to keep your throwing arm in shape, we’re going to get along famously!

A few things about my perfect home:

  • Active Lifestyle: I’m a busy boy! I need a family that loves to stay active and will enjoy working with me to channel all my smarts and energy.
  • The Right Teammates: Because I have a lot of drive and can be a bit 'busy,' I’d do best in a home without cats, other dogs or small children.
  • Learning Together: To help us become the ultimate team, I come with free basic obedience or puppy group classes at Campbell K9 University.

I’m already up-to-date on all my vaccines, fixed, and I’m microchipped. I’ll also be wearing my Fi tracking collar to keep me safe while we're out on our big adventures. Are you ready to be the person who never gets tired of throwing the ball? Because I’m definitely the dog who never gets tired of catching it! Let’s meet!"

Interested in meeting Harlow? Please contact Campbell Safe Haven Rescue and Rehabilitation at 541-404-2524 to schedule a meet-and-greet with this fun-loving boy.

Meet S’mores: My Journey Toward Hope!

🐾"Hi there, I’m S’mores. I’m a 4–5-year-old Pomeranian, and though my life started out with some very scary chapters, I’m finally ready to write a happy ending with you. Not long ago, I was found all alone on a roadside in Coos Bay. I was hurt, hungry, and very frightened. But since coming into the care of my friends at the rescue, everything has changed. I’ve been groomed, fed, and tucked into a warm bed, and I’m finally starting to realize that the world can be a kind place. Every day, I’m coming a little further out of my shell and learning how to trust again.

A little about my life:

  • Gentle & Curious: I’m a very sweet boy who gets along well with other dogs. I even have a gentle curiosity about children, though sudden movements can still startle me a bit.
  • Patiently Growing: I’m looking for a patient, understanding home where I can take my time to fully adjust and blossom. If you give me space and kindness, I promise to be the most loyal companion you've ever had.
  • Health Update: I’m already vaccinated and microchipped. I’m scheduled to be neutered in May 2026, so I’ll be all ready for our new life together.
  • Starting Off Right: To help us bond, I come with free basic obedience or puppy group classes at Campbell K9 University.

I’ll also be wearing my Fi tracking collar to make sure I’m always safe while I learn the ropes of my new home. I’ve been through a lot, but I’m resilient and full of hope. If you have a quiet, loving home and a little extra patience, I would love to be your devoted best friend."

Ready to give S’mores the home he deserves? Please contact Campbell Safe Haven Rescue and Rehabilitation at 541-404-2524 to schedule a meet-and-greet with this brave little guy.

Meet Frost: Playful, Snuggly, and Oh-So-Sweet! 🐾"

Hi there! My name is Frost. I’m a 2 months old pup, and I’m told I’m just about as sweet as they come. I’m currently looking for a family who loves playtime just as much as they love a good nap! I’m a very playful guy—I absolutely love my siblings and playing with the flirt pole is my favorite hobby. But I also have a secret talent: a great 'off switch.' Once the games are done, I’m all about those snuggles. I’m expected to be a medium-sized dog when I grow up, which makes me a great size for just about any adventure.

A few things to know about me:

  • Social & Fun: I love playing with other dogs and I'm learning all about the world around me.
  • Future Plans: I’m already scheduled to be neutered in June 2026, so that’s one less thing for you to worry about!
  • Safety First:  My new family can order a free Fi tracking collar for me, which includes the first 6 months of monitoring for free! It’s the perfect way to keep me safe and sound as we start our adventures together.
  • Learning the Ropes: My adoption includes free puppy group classes or basic obedience at Campbell K9 University. I’m ready to show you how smart I am!

I’ll also be up-to-date on all my vaccines and I’m already microchipped. If you’re looking for a playful friend who knows how to relax, I might be your perfect match!"

🐾 Meet Clank: Your Future Best Friend & Playmate! 🐾

"Hi there! My name is Clank, and I’m a 7-month-old Cadoodle (that’s a Cattle Dog and Poodle mix, for those wondering about my dashing good looks!). I’m still a young guy with a lot of love to give and plenty of spirit to share.

I’m currently getting ready for my big 'graduation' day—I’m scheduled to be neutered on May 6, and then I’ll be fully set to take on the world with my new family!

Here is the inside scoop on me:

  • A Little Shy, Then All Smiles: I can be a bit quiet when we first meet, but don’t let that fool you! Once I know you’re a friend, my playful side comes out in full force.
  • The Ultimate Playmate: I absolutely love other dogs. I’m always eager to make new friends and start a game of tag, though my teachers are helping me learn that not every dog wants to play as hard as I do. I'm working on my 'doggy manners' every day!
  • Work in Progress: Because I haven't always known where my next meal was coming from, I can be a little protective of my food around other pups. The rescue is helping me work through this with training, and I just need a patient leader to keep showing me the way.
  • Ready for Adventure: I’m looking for a human who is excited about training and helping a smart guy like me build my confidence.
  • Safety First:  My new family can order a free Fi tracking collar for me, which includes the first 6 months of monitoring for free! It’s the perfect way to keep me safe and sound as we start our adventures together.

I’m so ready to find a 'forever' where I can grow, learn, and be your loyal companion. If you have a heart for training and a spot on your couch for a sweet boy like me, let’s meet!"

I’m a very playful pup and I get along great with other dogs and kids. While I love to run and play, I have a big soft side, too. My favorite thing in the whole world is finding a cozy spot to snuggle up with my humans.

A few things about me:

Meet Axel: Your New Loyal Shadow!

🐾"Hi there! My name is Axel, and I’m a 2.5-year-old German Shepherd Dog. I’m looking for a very special person—someone who wants a best friend to be by their side through absolutely everything.

I’ve been told I’m quite stunning, but my real beauty is on the inside. I have a very gentle, loyal heart, and I form bonds with my people almost instantly. Once I know you’re my person, I’ll never want to leave your side!

A few things about me:

  • A True 'Velcro Dog': I thrive on connection. If you’re looking for a companion who will follow you from room to room and offer constant comfort and closeness, I’m your boy.
  • Sensitive & Sweet: I do get a little bit of anxiety sometimes, but it’s just because I want to make sure I’m near you. I just need a home that offers a bit of patience and a steady routine to help me feel secure.
  • Healthy & Ready: I’m already neutered, up to date on all my vaccines,  and microchipped. I’m all set to move into my forever home!
  • A Head Start: I have started Obedience classes. To help us build the best possible bond, I come with a 7-week basic obedience course at Campbell K9 University. I can't wait to show you how smart I am!

I’m also up-to-date on all my vaccines, fixed and I’m already microchipped.  My new family can order a free Fi tracking collar for me, which includes the first 6 months of monitoring for free! It’s the perfect way to keep me safe and sound as we start our adventures together.

Meet Eeyore: My Heart is as Big as My Paws!

🐾"Hi there! My name is Eeyore, and while I might look like a giant at 116 lbs, I’m really just a big hunk of love waiting for my perfect match. I’ve been with my friends at the rescue for a little while now, and I’ve come a long way! I’m a 2-year-old Cane Corso/Mastiff mix, and I’ve been working hard on my manners. I’ve learned that the world isn’t so scary when you have people you can trust. Once I know you’re my person, I will give you all the loyalty and affection a big guy like me can offer.

A few things to know about me:

  • The Leading Lady: I’ve lived with a female dog before and did great! I’d likely enjoy a home with a calm female dog who can keep me company.
  • Selective Socializing: I can be a bit reactive toward other dogs, especially the boys, so I’d prefer a home where I don’t have to worry about male canine roommates.
  • Gentle Giant (Mostly!): I’m a big boy and sometimes I forget just how strong I am. Because of my size and "zoomie" potential, I’d do best in a home without small children.
  • Lifelong Learner: I have been attending Obedience Classes, and if I don't say so, I think I am doing great! To help us start off on the right paw, I come with a 7-week basic obedience course at Campbell K9 University. I’m smart and ready to show you what I can do!
  • I am more aligned to slow Introductions to knew things and people, so please be patient with me.

I’m also up-to-date on all my vaccines, fixed and I’m already microchipped. I’ll also come to you with my very own Fi tracking collar to keep me safe while I settle into our new life together. I’ve spent my time growing and learning, and now I’m ready for the best part: finding you!

If you have a big heart and a little extra room on your couch (okay, maybe a lot of room!), please come meet me!"

Meet Josie: I See With My Heart!

🐾"Hi! I’m Josie, and while I might be a 3-year-old Black and Tan Coonhound who is blind, I don’t let that stop me from enjoying every second of life. My friends say I have a heart of gold, and I’m ready to share it with a family of my very own.

I’ve been staying in a wonderful foster home, and guess what? I’ve already mastered the layout! I can find my way around beautifully and I’ve even conquered the doggy door. I’m a quick learner and I adjust to new spaces much faster than you might think.

A little about my life:

  • Social Butterfly: I absolutely love other dogs and I’m a total star at doggy daycare! Having a fur-sibling to show me the ropes would be great, but I’m just happy to be part of the pack.
  • Family-Friendly: I’m great with people and children. I have a very sweet, gentle nature and love making new friends.
  • Ready to Go: I was spayed back in November, and I’m healthy and ready to find my 'forever.'

I’m looking for a patient home that can give me just a little extra time to map out our new world together. Once I know where the couch and the toy box are, I’ll be your most loyal companion!

I’m also up-to-date on all my vaccines and I’m already microchipped. I’ll come to you with my own Fi tracking collar and a 7-week basic obedience course at Campbell K9 University so we can bond while we learn together.

Do you have a spot in your heart for a special girl like me? I can't wait to meet you!"
